Another Easter treat! So quick and easy to make.


1 large aero (135g), 1 tin sweetened condensed milk, 100g butter, 1 heaped tablespoon cocoa powder, 150g marshmallows, 200g tennis biscuits, chocolate sticks, small easter eggs.

Break up the aero into small pieces and place in a non stick pot together with condensed milk, butter and cocoa powder. On low heat cook until everything melts and the mixture is smooth and glossy. Remove from the heat and set aside for a few minutes. Break up the tennis biscuits and the chocolate sticks and place in a large bowl. Cut up the marshmallows and set aside 1/2 a cup. Add the marshmallows to the biscuit bowl and mix well. (I use a pair of kitchen scissors to cut up the marshmallows - much easier). Pour the chocolate mixture over the biscuits and gently mix until everything is well combined. Line an 18 by 25cm dish with baking paper. The paper should hang over the sides of the dish. This will make it easier to lift the set mixture out of the dish in order to slice it. Place the mixture into the dish and smooth over the top. Place the easter eggs in rows on the top, so that when you slice it each slice will have an easter egg. Then sprinkle over the reserved marshmallows and any other decoration you like. Place in the fridge for 6-8 hours. Overnight is best. Once set, lift the it out of the dish by holding the baking paper. Slice and enjoy!
