Beer and Cheese Bread
So quick and easy!
3 cups self raising flour, 1 tablespoon sugar, 1/2 teaspoon salt, 1/2 teaspoon thyme, 1 cup grated cheese, 2 tablespoons melted butter, 350ml beer.
Place all dry ingredients, except the cheese, in a bowl. Pour in the beer and mix with a wooden spoon. Stir in the cheese and mix well. Pour the batter into a loaf tin and bake at 180degrees celsius for one hour. Place the bread on a wire rack to cool. Brush the top with the melted butter. You can use whatever herbs you like - instead of the thyme use rosemary or oregano. Enjoy!
