Mini Cakes

Need a tea time treat in a hurry? Not only was this beautiful to look at, it was also delicious to eat because of the Cream Cheese Frosting. I used all store bought items and with minimal effort turned out these gorgeous cakes!

Ingredients

Store bought trifle sponges, vanilla, chocolate and red velvet, 250g cream cheese, 100g butter, 2-21/2 cups icing sugar, 1/2 teaspoon vanilla essence, 1/4 teaspoon almond essence, decorative sweets.

The cream cheese and butter must be at room temperature. Beat together the cream cheese and butter. Add the icing sugar a cup at a time. Whisk until smooth then add the the essence and whisk again. Cut out circles from the trifle sponges and cream together two or three layers. Decorate the top with whatever you like. Enjoy!
