Won Tons

These little parcels are delicious. Make a lot because they are very moreish!

Ingredients.

400g pork mince, 4 spring onions chopped, 2 teaspoons ginger and garlic paste, 1/2 cup chopped coriander, 1/2 teaspoon Chinese five spice, 1 teaspoon hoisin sauce, 1 teaspoon sesame oil, 2 tablespoons soy sauce, 1/2 teaspoon salt, won ton skins (store bought).

Place all ingredients, (except the won ton skins), in a bowl and mix well. Make sure your won ton skins are completely defrosted. Cover them with a wet kitchen towel. Have a bowl of cold water ready. Place one won ton skin on a flat surface. Place one teaspoon of the pork filling in the centre. Wet the sides with the cold water. Then bring the sides up to make a "parcel". Place the won ton on a tray. Continue to make the rest. I got 50 won tons. To cook the won tons add them to boiling water and cook for 7-10 minutes. But I like to make pot stickers. Place a little oil in a fry pan and fry the won tons until brown at the bottom. Then add 1/4 cup water and bring to the boil. Cover the pan and steam the won tons for 4-5 minutes or until the water has evaporated. Place on a serving dish and serve with a sauce made as follows. 1/2 cup sweet chilli sauce, 3 tablespoons soy sauce, 1/2 teaspoon grated ginger. Mix well. Enjoy!
