Stuffed Mushrooms

If you love mushrooms as I do, then you will love this! 

Ingredients.

4 large mushrooms, 1 chopped onion, 2 cloves chopped garlic, salt and pepper, 1/2 teaspoon thyme, grated cheddar cheese, olive oil.

Scoop out the inside of each mushroom. Chop this finely. Fry the onion in some olive oil. When the onions have turned slightly brown add the garlic and fry for 2 minutes. Then add the chopped mushrooms, salt and pepper, and thyme, and cook until tender. Brush the scooped out mushrooms with olive oil and sprinkle with salt and pepper. Place on a baking sheet that has been smeared with olive oil. When the chopped mushrooms are cooked spoon some into each mushroom. Cover with as much cheese as you like! Bake at 180degrees celsius for 25-30 minutes. Perfect as a starter or a side dish. I sometimes add fried bacon pieces to the stuffing mixture and it is delicious. Enjoy!
