This recipe is so easy. It is just a matter of mixing together the different sauces. I suspect it will be just as good with prawns instead of fish!


500g fresh deboned hake, 1 teaspoon crushed garlic, salt, 2 teaspoons ginger and garlic paste, 4 spring onions chopped, 1/2 cup tomato sauce, 11/2 tablespoons soy sauce, 3 tablespoons oyster sauce, 2 tablespoons chilli sauce (I used Sriracha), fresh coriander and cooked Basmati or Jasmine rice to serve.

Cut the fish into small pieces and marinate with a pinch of salt and the crushed garlic. To make the sauce add the spring onions and ginger and garlic paste to a little oil and cook for two minutes. Add the tomato, soy, oyster and chilli sauce and cook on low heat for 3-4 minutes. Fry the fish pieces in a little oil and add them to the sauce. Garnish with fresh coriander and serve with rice or noodles. Enjoy!
