Always refereshing! You can use any fruit you like that's in season. Of course stay away from fruit like apples, pears and bananas as these turn brown if not eaten immediately.
Any of your favourite Fruit - I used pappaya, kiwi, grapes, pineapple and strawberries. I served it with a vanilla flavoured yoghurt drizzled with honey. You could serve the fruit salad with custard, ice cream, fresh cream or creme fraiche. Other fruit I have used include mangoes, litchis, rasberries, blue berries, black berries, green and orange melon (spanspek), and granadilla. Then it is just a matter of peeling and cutting the fruit into bite size pieces and layering them in a bowl. I have done four versions as can be seen in the accompanying photos.
