Easter Cake

Easy to make! The iced cake is pretty much your blank canvas to decorate with your favourite easter treats! I made this cake for my niece Talia who loves chocolate!

Ingredients

I baked a sponge cake or you could use a store bought trifle sponge. Vanilla or Chocolate icing. A variety of easter eggs and sweets.

I cut the cake in two, and iced the bottom half. I cut some marshmallows in half and placed them over the icing. Then place the top half on and ice the whole cake. Now decorate as you wish. I placed marshmallow easter eggs around the side, a large easter bunny in the centre and candy coated jelly tots around the bunny. I then filled the rest of the cake with little chocolate eggs. Finish off with a pretty ribbon.
