I used my spicy mix (you will find it on my "spicy chicken" blog) and found it works just as well on lamb and potatoes. This spice on sweet potatoes is divine as you get the hit of sweet and spicy.
6 large lamb chops, 2 each of regular and sweet potatoes, 2 tablespoons spice mix, 1 tablespoon ginger and garlic, 1 tablespoon crushed garlic, 1 teaspoon tumeric, chilli powder as desired, 3 tablespoons plain yoghurt, salt.
Peel and cut the potatoes into wedges. Place the potatoes and chops in a large bowl and add all the spices. Marinate for a few hours in the fridge. Place on a baking sheet, drizzle liberally with olive oil and bake at 180deg celsius for 50-60 minutes. I served this with crusty bread and a baked beans chutney (recipe on next page). Super easy, super delicious and super for entertaining!
